CUSCO COOKING CLASS – LUNCH

TIME: 12:00 TO 13:30, FROM MONDAY TO SATURDAY

GROUP SIZE: 2 to 12 PERSONS

THIS CUSCO COOKING CLASS LUNCH EXPERIENCE IS DESIGNED FOR THOSE WHO DON’T HAVE MUCH TIME BUT WOULD LIKE TO LEARN ABOUT AND SAMPLE THE BEST OF PERU’S CUISINE.
DURING 1.5 HOURS EACH GUEST WILL LEARN ABOUT THE HISTORY OF PERUVIAN GASTRONOMY AND KITCHEN CONCEPTS, PREPARE A TROPICAL BEVERAGE, AND ENJOY TWO OF PERU’S MOST EMBLEMATIC DISHES: CEVICHE AND LOMO SALTADO.

Step 1: Getting into Peruvian Cuisine (10 Minutes)
Our chef will provide an introduction to Peruvian culinary culture by sharing information about its history, biodiversity, and geography.

Step 2: Ceviche Hands-On (30 Minutes)
The first dish we prepare will be Peruvian ceviche where we mix fresh fish with a variety of other ingredients to make this plate both unique and unforgettable. This activity is 100% participatory.

Step 3: A Moment of Passion (15 Minutes)
Here we will make a drink out of maracuyá, one of Peru’s many varieties of passion fruit. This activity is 100% participatory.

Step 4: Lomo Saltado Cooking Experience (30 Minutes)
After receiving both instructions and a demonstration from our chef, all participants will prepare their own Lomo Saltado by sauteing their meal in the wok. This activity is 100% participatory.
The class finishes at 13:30 with the lunch (Lomo Saltado) that each guest prepared for themselves.

1. All our services are shared, in English and for people over 18 years of age.
2. Participants must appear at our location located at 135 Palacio Street, Cusco. If you require round-trip transfers to and from cooking classes, please request them at the time of your initial reservation, or at the time you decide to take it.

CUSCO COOKING CLASS DINNER

TIME: 16:30 TO 18:30, FROM MONDAY TO SATURDAY

GROUP SIZE: 2 TO 12 PERSONS 

COOKING CLASSES ARE A 100% PARTICIPATORY, DYNAMIC IMMERSION INTO PERU’S GASTRONOMY.

Step 1: Getting into Peruvian Cuisine (20 Minutes)
Our chef-instructor will provide an introduction to Peruvian culinary culture by sharing information about its history, biodiversity, and geography.

Step 2: Ceviche Hands-On (30 Minutes)
The first dish we prepare will be Peruvian ceviche where we mix fresh fish with a variety of other ingredients to make this plate both unique and unforgettable. This activity is 100% participatory.

Step 3: Pisco O’Clock (30 Minutes)
During this step we will enjoy Peru’s emblematic liquor while learning about (and becoming enchanted by) its history. We will then prepare a Pisco Sour. This activity is 100% participatory.

Step 4: Lomo Saltado Cooking Experience (30 Minutes)
After receiving both instructions and a demonstration from our chef, all participants will prepare their own Lomo Saltado by sauteing their meal in the wok. This activity is 100% participatory.

5: The Exotics (30 Minutes)
Due to Peru’s tropical location, it is home to many different, exotic fruits. Here we will have the opportunity to sample sweet, acidic, and sweet/sour flavors of the best fruits of the season.

PISCO SOUR COCKTAIL CLASS

TIME: 19:00 TO 20:00, FROM MONDAY TO SATURDAY

GROUP SIZE: 2 TO 12 PERSONS

TAKE A JOURNEY THROUGHOUT THE WORLD OF PISCO WHILE PREPARING THE MOST RENOWNED PISCO COCKTAILS.

Step 1: Let’s Get Pisco (20 Minutes)
After a brief presentation and introduction each participant will prepare a Pisco Sour.

Step 2: Delving into the Culture of Alcohol (15 Minutes)
While we enjoy our first cocktail, the Pisco specialist will provide information about the history and concepts of Pisco.

Step 3: A Summer Drink (15 Minutes)
There’s no first without a second, which is why we will now begin our second cocktail here: the refreshing Pisco-based Chilcano.

Step 4: Bottoms Up (10 Minutes)
Our diabolic bartender will provide a farewell shot to each guest in order to liven them up even more before heading back to their hotel, or, out to begin a fun evening in the city.
